New corner kitchen for 9,000 rubles. DIY installation

In the mortgage studio, my brother needed a small corner kitchen set. To order according to individual sizes is expensive, at least 35 thousand rubles. Plus a sink, apron, plinth, etc. - the total amount will be even higher. We decided to look at the kitchens in Leroy:

There are sold modules (disassembled), from which you can type a kitchen of the required size based on the desired length and assemble this designer yourself. The downside is that the tabletop will not turn out to be solid, there will be seams between the pedestals. Corner sets were not considered from there - the price is high even there.

The cost of the modules. Prices December 2019 In principle, a non-corner kitchen can be assembled from 10 to 15 thousand. rub. with simple facades. Many people buy kitchens here - while they pay the mortgage. But I wanted to fit exactly the corner set.

Therefore, we looked through advertisements for the sale of new kitchens on avito and au.ru and managed to find a new corner set (but in a neighboring town 50 km away). We took a trailer and went to pick up:

A store with economy furniture was closed and a lot was sold there almost at cost. The kitchen was purchased with little bargaining for 9000 rubles. Moved, then - installation:

When renting an apartment, the simplest sink is installed and a corner is made of several tiles. I dismantled it all. It can be seen that there is a minimum of tile glue under the tiles and is glued to the plaster without a primer. Torn off with a regular screwdriver. My brother went on a business trip, then he did everything himself.

I got an inexpensive round sink and plastic panels for the kitchen apron. Everything is inexpensive. I sketched a contour around the sink, stepped back and drew a contour along which you need to drink a hole for the sink. He drilled a hole with a drill and through it with a jigsaw cut out a platform for a sink in the countertop. Sink fasteners - included. But not all sinks.

In the process of gluing panels (on liquid nails). I installed a special aluminum profile between the pedestals - it matches the color of the table top.

Installation of the corner skirting board over the pedestals. Are screwed to the countertops. For some reason, an expensive edge for this skirting board. And I had to buy two, tk. in length, it is specially made less than 3m (the length of the plinth) - only 2.4 m. Marketing, however. Minus the manufacturer for such a "rotten" trick to get more money from the retail buyer.

Final view. On the right is a place for a refrigerator (or vice versa). On the left - under the slab. Chipboard plates with a chrome-plated pipe stand (included in the kit) will also be installed on top, but the pipe sections were either lost or they were not handed over to us.

In total, taking into account all the costs for the purchase of components, the corner kitchen set cost about 15 thousand. rub. Saving 15-20 thousand Such advice: look at the ads for sale, there you can often find offers for the sale of new furniture with an interesting price.

14 years ago, they also bought an almost new kitchen set through an advertisement in their apartment (even before the renovation). People left for another city and sold apartments, sold furniture. Our kitchen served for 5 years and was sold in good condition, of course, for a lower amount:
