A kitchen that will infuriate any perfectionist. Renovation photos

The family bought an apartment with a fairly large kitchen - 11 m2. For many who live in Khrushchevs and small-sized panel buildings, such a kitchen is a luxury and a dream. However, not everyone can correctly plan a large area.

Residents made repairs without involving designers and planners. It didn't seem like a bad interior came out, but it will irritate any perfectionist.

I do not consider myself a perfectionist, but this kitchen seemed disharmonious to me.

In such an area, everything could be done more conveniently and neatly.

The residents decided to make the furniture not white or gray, as it is fashionable now, but light olive. In addition to this shade, gray and white are still present in the interior. The colors go well with each other.

Tiles under gray wood on the floor look very style. The top was made in a dark graphite color. The apron consists of a combination of white tiles and patchwork tiles. The dining area on the floor is marked with the same patterned tiles. From a distance it looks like a carpet.

The walls and ceiling are painted uniform white. At the entrance to the kitchen from the opposite wall, there is another work area in the form of a column. It has a built-in refrigerator, oven and microwave.

In terms of color, style, everything is combined, but still a lot of oddities are allowed, which cause a feeling of discomfort.

First, about the main area - it can be seen that the camp closer to the door to the loggia has a ledge. This is most likely a mine. The owners beat her with an open shelf, which looks, to put it mildly, not very good. The corner seems somehow piled up, heavy. Straight lines and closed cabinets would look neater and not draw as much attention to this ledge.

Also, there is no hood above the stove, instead there is an open space. A strange decision. It is completely unclear what prevented the tenants from installing the hood. Certainly not a lack of finance.

This column at the entrance, cut off from space, looks very sloppy. Perhaps it would have looked better if the refrigerator was completely built into the cabinet, and instead of the usual microwave standing in the niche, the built-in one would be used.

And, in general, all this could be designed so as to be placed in the main work area. And leave one refrigerator in this corner.

The disharmonious perception is complemented by a transparent tulle that does not reach the floor length - an impression of some kind of scantiness is created. But the green curtain is not badly matched.

And the dining group of a compact table and 4 chairs with backs also looks pretty. The solution with the insertion of patchwork tiles on the floor is also in question. I think a solid wood floor would look more impressive.

Individually, everything seems to be not even bad in this kitchen. But together it did not work out very well.

In my opinion, on 11 m2, everything could be designed much more functional and neat.
