How to remove excess part in a foam gun. 100% cylinder depletion
I bought myself a new, spare pistol, I will need it for repair work in the village and immediately decided to remake it, like my first tool, which has been used for more than ten years. As many have already guessed, I will remove the check valve from him, which serves to keep the foam in the gun tube when removing the cylinder.
Why is it needed
Since the valve has resistance, it does not allow using the foam to the end and often part of it remains in the cylinder, without it this does not happen. The next disadvantage the foam is drying exactly in the place of its installation, which does not add joy when using.
I know gun users split into two camps, the former leave the instrument with foam, the latter do not, they prefer to remove the cylinder and do the rinsing. I belong to the first, because when removing the cylinder there is no guarantee that the valve will work, and the foam with a cheerful hiss will not leave him.
Dismantling the valve
I unscrewed the block where the valve is located with the help of adjustable pliers, the key for 19 did not cope with this task.
I planned to pull out the plastic tube holding the spring with a metal ball by screwing a screw into it, but it did not move, it sat firmly.
I decided to drill it with a drill with a suitable diameter, it could not resist this method.
I wound the fum tape on the thread of the block and screwed it into place, the gun is ready to go. Are you removing the valve?
