How to save a concrete mixer from breakage. I have an idea
Recently I bought myself a concrete mixer, I have big plans for it to restore the house in the village and the floors need to be poured and the yard to be concreted, in general, the assistant. But after the acquisition, experienced comrades criticized her, pointing out her weaknesses. The entire load of this machine falls on the bearing, and they said that it can be replaced with a new one, but there will be a problem with the seat.
Idea for solving the problem
Having scratched the top of the head, let's think about how to protect it and not bring it to such a state.
Since the load falls on one point, it means that it must be distributed.
I decided to add two more support points to make the bearing easier. And how to do it? Hence, you need to add a side rocker and install two rollers on it, figured, those that are used on heavy furniture will do.
To the native rocker, where the pear is installed, I will weld two racks to which the second arc will be attached, and already on it the rollers. Moreover, it is necessary to provide for the possibility of dismantling and reinstalling the support on the other side, since the installation of a concrete mixer in place can be different.
Then the idea came to use two independent (reinforced) fasteners instead of an arc, on which there would be rollers. And have thoughts on adjusting the pressure of the rollers to the bowl of the concrete mixer, but I'll write about this later, in fact. I think thus, part of the load will fall on additional supports, which will relieve the main bearing and save the apparatus. How do you like this idea, maybe you have your own solutions?
