Someone wants to buy a gift, but does not want the household to know about it. There are many reasons, but the most important thing is to find such a place so that no one would guess about it or find it even by accident.

As you know, it is best to hide the most secret in plain sight, then people will not even think to look for it in this place. I did exactly that and would like to share with you my invention for storing the "stash".

Having tried many places for keeping money a secret from the family in toilet paper, in a plastic baseboard, etc., as a result, I found one very reliable - an ordinary sponge for washing dishes.

I bought a package of large enough sponges and took one, supposedly for cleaning the jacket from dust.

Using a clerical knife, I made an incision inside the sponge to fit the bill. Having collected a certain amount of money, I exchanged it in the store for a denomination of a larger denomination so that it took up less space and the cut did not protrude.

I kept my "stash" in plain sight, but I warned not to take it for washing dishes, because it is intended for cleaning a jacket and should not be wet and greasy. It was important to make sure that the sponges in the kitchen did not run out and no one decided to take mine.

For several months now I have been collecting money for my husband for a surprise gift and no one can even think that they are under everyone's nose.
