We no longer plant tomato seedlings, but sow seeds in a hole, the harvest is the same, and there are fewer worries.

On the Internet, you can find videos showing how experienced gardeners grow tomatoes directly from seeds in the garden. The most interesting thing is that in the end result, maturation occurs in the same period.

It is really possible to cope with the work, but for this you need to know some secrets, which will be discussed below.

When the snow has completely melted from the beds, dig holes, keeping a distance of about 40 cm between them, and also pour a tablespoon of superphosphate dressing into each hole.

Leave them in this form for 15 days.

For sowing, you will need early varieties of tomatoes, among which it is worth noting:

Kibitz;
Golden Stream;
Ultra early maturing F1;
Sanka;

Dubrava

These varieties have been tested over the years and have never let gardeners down.
Place the seeds in a light pink potassium permanganate solution for 20 minutes before planting. After the specified time has passed, rinse and dry the seeds.

About 6 seeds should be placed in one hole. After seeding, cover the wells with a cut 5 liter bottle, which will serve as a kind of greenhouse.

After the appearance of the first shoots, they should be sprayed with Baikal EM-1 using a spray bottle. Fertilizer should be diluted, observing the proportions, 1 tablespoon of the drug in a bucket of water.

You need to spray the plant once a week.
Then you should wait 15 days and leave the two strongest plants in each hole. Place a stake between the tomatoes and pull the braid so that in the future, at the time of tying, there will be no difficulties.

By removing weak plants, you may not get rid of them, but plant them in another place, because they will also make good plants. Cover the tomatoes with a bottle and let sit for a week. After the indicated time, add the infusion made from wood ash.

Every morning on a homemade greenhouse, you should open the lid, and close it at nightfall. When the weather becomes stable and warm days arrive, the bottle can be removed completely.

Tomatoes should be covered with spunbond at night. After just a month, it will become noticeable that the bushes have become stronger.

In July, it is worth taking care of the humidity of the beds, because it is no secret to anyone that on hot days any crops need abundant watering.

To save energy, you should put mulch under each bush, consisting of fermented manure and straw. Thanks to such simple actions, the moisture in the soil will last much longer.

Be sure to pinch the tops, which will allow the plant to expend energy on forming fruits, not foliage. In order not to run into late blight, use garlic tincture. Spud the plants several times throughout the season.

Having decided to use this method, it is not necessary to use the above varieties of tomatoes, any other tomatoes belonging to early plants will do.
