Building my dream: a brick budget house. Start
About the problems of shared ownership, the realities of self-builders and the preparation of a construction site
FORUMHOUSE presents another story of one of the portal members. This time - about the construction of a residential building, also with a relatively small budget. Shares his experience Aslan040.
Contrary to all the frightening stories (builders and foremen with not a clear conscience) decided to build a house for 3 million. The most interesting is what will come of it. I will definitely publish the construction process and the price of each stage!
How it all started
I apologize in advance for the spelling and for the text in general. I have never written anything like it. It all started in the spring of 2019. We live in a common yard, with inadequate neighbors since 1990. After 8 years of litigation, we still managed to sue and allocate our part of the land for use.
There were a little less than three million on hand and it was decided to build a house. I explain why:
- First, our part of the house would be difficult to sell;
- Secondly, for three million it would be possible to buy only a three-room apartment, in a new building, without renovation.
In our Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, they are mainly built from three materials: brick, ash block (Kabardian, from volcanic ash) and gas block. I decided to build from bricks. Naturally, I could not hire a foreman with such a budget, so there were some mistakes. I will also tell all the mistakes and, if possible, show them. I'm not going to teach anyone, this story is just my story about my construction. I hope that something useful can be learned from it, for a newbie in construction like me.
Site preparation
So, they decided to build the house on the site of the existing summer kitchen / temporary hut. Everything was under a common canopy with neighbors. A fence made of galvanized steel sheet served as the border. It was decided to cut off the roof along the border, turn off all communications and dismantle the building. Naturally, disassemble on your own, in order to save money. All stages of parsing in the photo.
The old bricks were cleaned and stacked to be used for the internal partitions.
Costs for parsing the temporary huts:
- Alteration of gas (gas was put into the main house, the work was done out of acquaintance) - symbolic 2,000 rubles.
- Dismantling the roof - 4000 rubles.
- Garbage removal (tractor and dump truck) - 13,500 rubles.
