Tricks from a homemade master: do-it-yourself soldering iron, a clamp from a bottle, cut the rope without a knife and scissors
We will tell and show several secrets, developments from home craftsmen. Tips to make life easier for everyone. Remember, this may come in handy more than once.
Often there are not enough tools and devices. But you can do without them if you dream a little. We bring to your attention some useful life hacks.
Clamps, ties from a bottle
A very useful thing that may not be in the house. We make a reusable clamp from a plastic bottle with our own hands.
Cut off a strip from the bottle. We make one edge narrower, the other wider. Using a stapler, make holes in the wide part of the tape.
We collect the wires in a bunch using a homemade cable tie.
Soldering iron from a candle and a wire
Don't have a soldering iron on hand? No problem. It can be made from simple things: candles and copper wire.
A small wooden block, as high as a candle or a little more, is also useful. On a base made of a piece of plywood or fiberboard, glue the block vertically. We fasten a piece of wire to it from above. In the middle, we wrap a bar and a candle with one piece of wire.
We light a candle, it will heat the wire. Treat the free end with flux and solder. Bring, for example, a twist of wires and solder.
How to cut a rope with another rope
If there is no knife or other sharp object at hand, then you can cut the rope with another rope.
Step on the rope you want to cut with both feet. Pass another rope and rub it with your hands (up, down) until it cuts.
The friction of the ropes generates heat and cuts without a knife or scissors.
