The pepper seeds will sprout in 12 hours.

Good afternoon, dear readers of the channel! In the midst of the seedling season of gardeners, planting of tomato and pepper seeds began en masse.

Basically, there are few problems with tomato seeds and they sprout together in 3-5 days, with the exception of overdried and old seeds.

But with pepper seeds it is difficult, even for seasoned gardeners, not to mention beginner gardeners. Shoots appear at best in 7-14 days, and sometimes they sit for a month or even die without having time to ascend.

Therefore, they begin to sow pepper in advance, starting in February. If you are late with sowing, or with a long germination of pepper seeds, the harvest will be small and late, while not picking up the maturity of the fruit.

So last year my pepper seeds did not want to germinate for a long time, since I could not create the optimal temperature for seed germination in urban conditions.

I sowed them on February 25, but even by March 20 there was no hint of root sprouting, but only fairly swollen, and some already blackened seeds. It was necessary to urgently do something ...

And I remembered an interesting method that I had once read in a magazine, which said that given method, pepper seeds germinated in 12 hours, but then I did not believe in such a miracle and did not experiment.

And now, in frustration, to be left without a crop, I sat and thought: "what if".. I always have seeds, thank God enough with a margin, but now there is time for new shoots that, at best, would appear in mid-April did not have.

And so I prepared the pepper seeds I needed, a transparent plastic salad container with closable lid, cotton pads (but it is better to use toilet paper), a kitchen board and stationery knife.

And then we take our seeds, put them on the board and cut off a small edge from where the root appears.

We send such seeds to a cotton pad and slightly moisten with water and close the lid.

Next, you need to create an optimal temperature of 26-29 degrees Celsius. I placed the box on top of a table lamp with a 40 watt incandescent lamp.

I performed these manipulations at 7 pm, and left it until the morning.

When I woke up, I started to get ready for work and reluctantly decided to look at the seeds, realizing deeply in my soul that it was simply impossible.

Opening the container and lifting the cotton pad, I was just shocked to say the least ...

At 7.30 in the morning, little white roots with a length of 2-3 mm were already sticking out of the seeds. In the evening I planted them in a box and after 3 days the cotyledon leaves appeared on the surface.

There was no limit to happiness and joy, so that I would not see the pepper so quickly.
