Today I want to talk about a little-known but very useful plant called rhubarb.
What is good about rhubarb is that it can be used not only for making delicious jam and baking pies, but some parts of this plant will be useful for controlling garden pests and vegetable garden.
In spring and summer, rhubarb pleases us with its beautiful appearance. The plant is not whimsical and produces delicious petioles that can be used to diversify the table.
Why use delicious petioles is understandable. But what can be done with the remains of the plant? The rougher parts of rhubarb are not suitable for eating. But don't throw them away. Leftover leaves and rough parts of rhubarb are excellent pest control. An infusion made from rhubarb will help fight aphids, caterpillars and onion flies. A huge plus of this tool is harmlessness to both plants and humans. Having processed trees, flowers, onions, carrots with this solution, you can easily get rid of pests.
Method of making rhubarb infusion
Take 1.5 kg of rhubarb leaves and leftovers and break them into small pieces. Then pour everything with 10 liters of warm water and put on fire. The liquid should boil. We leave the infusion under the lid for one day. Then everything should be mixed and filtered. Pour the resulting infusion into a sprayer and process plants and trees. Re-processing should be carried out in a week or two - this guarantees the complete destruction of aphids and other harmful insects. The remaining infusion can be stored in jars closed with tight lids, but only in a dark and cool place. Of course, the infusion is most effective immediately after preparation.

Rhubarb is a wonderful decoration for any garden or vegetable garden. The stems and leaves of the plant look no worse than some of their decorative counterparts, but at the same time, rhubarb is not worth the tower money and is easy to care for.
