In February 2017, the son and daughter-in-law received the keys to the apartment. T. Since several months passed from the registration of the mortgage to the commissioning of the house, they had time to think about the interior. My children are creative, so there was no doubt that it would be a "loft". If they had no doubts about the interior, then I also had no doubts that I would make the interior elements.

How to make a shelf for spices in the kitchen from fittings and board scraps

Industrial style and loft style very closely overlap. And at one point I thought, shouldn't I try myself in an industrial style?

I did not go into the jungle, but decided to try the pen, so to speak, on something simple. And this is simple, I got a shelf for spices in the kitchen for children in an apartment, which they decorate in a loft style.

I bought everything in the same hyper, plumbing fittings for 3/4 - all sorts of bends, elbows, triplets. And I assembled such a shelf as a designer. On the brackets I put 2 trim boards left after making the dining table. Painted black with metal paint 3 in 1. Then he took it to the children. The children themselves fixed the shelf.

There is an interesting story with paint - we chose this paint, 3 in 1, for rust. Rapid aging is expected from such a coating. In some places it should soon, as it were, rub down to metal. From this, the product will be even more like the idea and look like aged.

Spent minimum:

• Fittings - 400 rubles.
• 3 in 1 paint - 141 rubles.
• Flanges on which the shelf is attached to the wall (they were available, at one time I ordered a batch on one of the Chinese sites) - 340 rubles.

Total: 881 rubles.
