It is accepted in our country that the garage is an intermediate link between the house and the landfill. There is rubbish everywhere, old refrigerators, washing machines, peeling walls, bushes or trees grow on the roof.

He began by removing the old wooden floor to pour concrete on the surface, and noticed that the corner and part of the back wall were damp. The roof of the garage is designed with a backward slope, all sediment flows directly to the ground and the ground behind the garage never dries up.

The garage owner did the following:

• dug up five rows of bricks for the back and side walls to the foundation;
• dried the masonry and plastered the walls in two layers;
• I covered the entire floor with rubble, tamped it with a fuel vibrator, sprinkled it with M300 mixture, spilled it with water;
• I filled the floor with concrete, welded a beacon frame from a 40x20 mm pipe and laid 10 mm strips of polyethylene foam along the wall. For two days he watered the floor with water in the morning and in the evening;
• made a blind area: concrete 100 mm, with a glass-insulated substrate, reinforcement - mesh 4x100x100 mm, soil poured, a slope was made.

In the whole row of garages, only I have a blind area, everyone else has water from the roof pouring directly under the rear walls, so they are all damp. I missed the end and the bottom of the floor slab protruding from the back of the garage. All this, I think, is guaranteed not to let the back and side walls get wet.

The next step is electricity. The result is nine lamps (three on the ceiling, one above the gate, two side and three in the basement, and 11 sockets (four of them above the workbench). Just in case, the wires are led into boxes above the ventilation holes, so that it is always possible to connect forced ventilation.

It was the turn of the interior decoration of the walls. It turned out to be impossible to knock down the old plaster, "bare concrete", so Pavel applied a new layer so that it was as thin as possible, and the walls "did not caress the eyes." After priming the plaster, I applied two layers of putty, painted the walls with facade paint. I cleaned, vacuumed and painted the floor with a product that, according to reviews, is enough for several years.

Then he gradually brought his garage to perfection - he put equipment, most of which was made by hand, and closed the pit in the basement.
