I fill the beef with vodka with spices for 3 days and serve it on the festive table. The taste is almost like Carpaccio, but tastier, in my opinion
Everyone knows how to roast beef. But not everyone can cook such cold dishes from it. I propose a recipe for such a beef tenderloin that can be served instead of sausages on the table. For me this recipe was to my taste, I do not eat sausages, but I really liked the spicy cold meat, somewhat reminiscent of the taste of smoked sausage.
Someone else will be able to prepare for the new year, perhaps. After all, it only takes 3 days for it. And if not, then after the new year and Christmas will be just right. You can serve as you like. Can be like carpaccio with mayonnaise sauce.
Preparing is surprisingly simple. We take a tight plastic bag or a suitable container to fill it completely. Pour all the ingredients except the beef, mix well and let stand for 5 minutes. Then put the beef and, closing tightly, shake well so that the tenderloin is completely saturated with marinade from all sides and leave in the refrigerator. In the morning and in the evening, do not forget to turn the container over every day.
After three days we take it out, dry it with a paper towel and leave it to dry, let's say "breathe" the beef. And that's it! You can already apply for #New Year's dinner.
And all that is required is a list:
- beef tenderloin (up to a kilogram approximately)
- 250 ml vodka or can be replaced with cognac for a woody aroma
- 100 gr. salt
- 100 gr. Sahara
- 1 teaspoon of black peppercorns, which we first break with a hammer
- 3 tbsp. l. vegetable (sunflower or olive) oil
- basil or other herbs to taste
