When you first arrive in sunny Italy, you fall in love with everything that surrounds you. From the first steps on this land you come across friendly people who smile like the Italian sun at the first person they meet with the unchanging "Bongiorno". In addition, the majestic architecture, various natural landscapes and, of course, the careful attitude of this people to their land are striking.

We settled in a small village that sounds like “Villa” in Italian. It is rather a village with narrow streets and 2-3-storey buildings. Due to the high cost of land, only a wealthy Italian lives in a private house with a solid personal plot.

Walking through the streets, you will not find a piece of paper or an apple core. Of course, many have heard about the analysis of household waste and waste. Failure to comply with simple rules for waste disposal faces a fine, but this does not frighten the local population. They are committed to preserving the unique nature.

Italians also take great care of their homes. Looking at the local houses, one gets the impression that all the buildings are old, which need repairs or at least a little reconstruction. But in this way they try to touch the history associated with this place or simply preserve the flavor of the area.

You don't have to go on excursions to historical sites in order to admire the ancient architecture. Suddenly, a wall with a thousand-year history peeps out of an ordinary house. It is enough to go deeper in your walk and you will definitely stumble upon an unusual house. The main thing is not to get lost in the maze of streets.

Despite the sweltering heat at the height of summer, there are no conventional air conditioners in the houses here. Perhaps this is due to cost savings? But in private houses this modern technology is also not visible. On the other hand, wooden shutters, painted in different colors, colorfully fit into almost all windows. This decorative detail, preserved from the past, carries the functional role of “home protector”. Previously, they were placed to protect from prying eyes or intruders. Now, through shutters are more likely to create a local flavor in the exterior.

And you can't even imagine a modern technical object against the background of such landscapes. Only in some houses have the shutters been replaced with mechanical shutters.

In Italy, a real cult of proper nutrition. Therefore, even in small apartments by our standards, there are dining rooms. The whole family gathers in them at a round table and holds a lunch that lasts several hours. At this time of the day, it is better not to go out because of the heat, but to spend it with the family, eating and talking.

Not a single Italian meal can do without green salads. And how to imagine pizza "Margarita" without chic tomatoes and basil! Therefore, the Italians do not allow even a meter of land to be empty. What is not grown in their small gardens! Favorable natural conditions - gentle sun and fertile land make this region a truly paradise.

Some people grow cacti as house plants, some varieties of which grow edible fruits.

And how not to pay attention to the variety of flowers and bright shrubs, which delight with their beauty almost all year round. Multi-colored oleander is found on every corner, and you want to take pictures of the gorgeous flowers of the noble magnolia all the time. Evergreen bougainvillea lianas decorate the walls of houses and fences. A stunningly beautiful plant!

This combination of classic antiquity with an easy attitude to life makes you fall in love with this country forever. This blooming, bright, unusually sunny country with its wonderful people will not leave anyone indifferent.
