What do Germans do when garbage accumulates in their house?

Recently I was able to visit an amazing country - Germany. For a month I lived in the same way as the locals live in order to better understand people and their way of life. I lived in a rented apartment (not in a hotel or hotel), used local public transport, went to the grocery store - all this helped me to fully understand the country and its people.

During this month, the attitude of the locals to garbage seemed to me the most interesting. I can say with confidence that the Germans are the cleanest people. When it comes to sorting and disposing of waste, the people of Germany have the most advanced technology in this regard.

The Germans not only monitor the cleanliness of the house, but also are very picky about the disposal and sorting of garbage. First, there are sorting bins on almost every corner. What is surprising is that all Germans try to follow the sorting instructions. Local residents sort waste not only in public places, but also at home. Having multiple bins for different waste is an essential part of every home.

Secondly, the inhabitants of Germany never throw away bottles, both plastic and glass, and cans. In each area, there are necessarily several collection points for bottles, for the delivery of which you can get really good money. Handing over bottles is not a sign of the poor. Virtually every family living in Germany returns bottles.

Interestingly, bottles can be brought not only to the collection points, but also back to the stores where they were purchased. If you bring bottles to the store along with a receipt for their purchase, then they can pay for part of your new purchase. Sometimes more than 50 percent of a large purchase can be paid in this way.

Thirdly, on the streets of Germany, garbage will never lie outside the bin or trash can. The point is not that local cleaners quickly and efficiently clean up garbage. No German will allow himself to litter in a public place, a bus stop or a park.

And the last thing about the attitude of the Germans towards garbage, this is a special zoning for large garbage containers. As a rule, each district has a separate building: a concrete fence with a wicket. It is inside such buildings that large containers are located for disposing of garbage from the house. These buildings are located away from playgrounds and residential buildings so that the air is not polluted and toxic. Garbage from such containers is removed regularly, sometimes even several times a day.

You can talk endlessly about Germany and its inhabitants. The Germans are very unusual, specific and interesting. Their lives can really be envied - they live for their own pleasure and as they want. Living in this country is not just pleasant, but comfortable, cozy and calm. Have you been to Germany? If so, what have you completed the most?
