The Japanese are perhaps the most distinctive of all nations. Their way of life and various household appliances never cease to amaze visitors to Japan. But the most specific, perhaps, is their attitude to visiting... toilet!
Maybe they have some kind of active metabolism of the body, which creates the need to create special conditions for visiting the closet? This is the only way to explain the level of comfort that they seek to create for themselves in the secret room.
The Japanese have both domestic and public toilets in most cases equipped with the latest modern progress. One of these amenities is the "smart" toilet, which is equipped with a heated throne surface, a shower for the sacral part of the body and a hairdryer for drying it later, even an emergency call button.
Such toilets were created with all the responsibility and dedication of manufacturers. To develop the functions, a staff of more than a hundred people was recruited, who tested the shapes and sizes of toilets, noted where points for ablution are located, then the most versatile version of the hole was developed, from where the stream would hit so that the fifth point remained happy. The temperature of the supplied water and air was also tested.
Today, such a toilet is no longer something stunningly new, as they are being replaced by a new generation of toilet bowls that require fingerprint authorizations capable of weighing a person, collecting an analysis and sending his indicators via Wi-Fi to a medical institution.
It should be noted the prudence of the Japanese in public toilets. In addition to the standard options for toilets for women, men and the disabled, in Japan there is such an option as dad + daughter. You can't lead a little girl into a men's toilet, you can't break into a women's toilet with your daughter, so the smart Japanese came up with such an option for a tandem. Most Japanese restrooms also have a baby holder near the toilet. Such a detail is introduced in case the mother needs to go to the toilet, and the child, let's say half a year old, has nowhere to put it.
In addition, the Japanese visit the toilet in special shoes, slippers, which await the visitor near the cherished door. After performing some simple manipulations on the smart toilet, the Japanese leave the toilet and leave their slippers near the door.
In fact, this procedure originated many years ago for reasons of hygiene. The traditional Japanese toilet was a hole in the floor, that is, something similar to old toilets Russian schools, railway stations (unfortunately, in our country they have not yet outlived their usefulness and exist to this day).
The Japanese, as one of the most pedantic nations in the matter of cleanliness, believed that the toilet was dirty, therefore, in order not to spread bacteria from the results of their own vital activity throughout the house, came up with an easy way out of this situation in the form special footwear.
