Two Christmas divinations that have come true for me

The opportunity, albeit conditional and illusory, to look into their future has always attracted people. Even the traditional censure of games with the other world did not stop girls either a century ago or today. And the main thing is the time when everyone "can" learn a lot of interesting things about himself and his fate - of course, Christmas time.

Curiosity did not pass me by either. In general, I am skeptical about such things, so I tried to guess more "in my youth" for fun and a kind of thrill. But there were two cases that I don't know how to explain.

I do not deny that it could be coincidences or wishful thinking. I think psychologists would find an explanation. But I'll just tell you how it was.

One incident happened when I was a little over 20 years old. My friend and I decided to do harmless fortune-telling - wax dripping. dark room, burning and crackling candles, everything. The atmosphere is still.

Whoever tried it knows that it is very difficult to see unambiguous outlines in the resulting mass, so you can dream up what you want. So my friend got a mysterious silhouette, just an indistinct lump. Lena was a little annoyed that today she will not be able to see her future.

Then it was my turn.

But my wax painting was obvious - it turned out to be a real church cross. I was in a panic, because not very pleasant associations crept into my head. I even fell asleep with difficulty, but calmed myself with the thought of the frivolity of what was happening and the idea: the main thing is how I feel about such a symbol.

And I happily forgot about the unpleasant Christmastide surprise. Until 3 months later, a cousin living on the other side of Russia called with good news. She decided to baptize her daughter, whom she recently gave birth to. Therefore, he invites me to fly to her in 2 weeks so that I become a godmother.

It was then that I remembered my recent fortune-telling. Maybe my saucer is a kind of sign?

The next year (or after, I don't remember exactly!) There was another fortune-telling. And in front of him, I also put a checkmark, as come true!

And it concerns, ta-dame, romantic affairs. Every curious girl is supposed to want to know who her betrothed is.. In view of natural laziness and restlessness, I immediately discarded the options for all sorts of difficult fortune-telling like many hours sticking looking in the mirror. But the option to put a lock under the pillow, doing something at the same time and saying, came to me oh, how to my liking)

I had a lot of dreams that night (as always). But my brain somewhere remembered that today I should see my future husband)) Therefore, when I woke up, I immediately recalled a dream with a young man. That's bad luck - the face was completely erased from memory. Only the patterned shirt in white and blue remained in front of my eyes. The most interesting thing is that when I met my husband, he was dressed in exactly the same! Therefore, now I rightfully consider him my betrothed)
