The law on the development of microgeneration in Russia officially entered into force
Somehow, a very important event passed without much attention, namely on December 30, 2019 by the President of the Russian Federation the Federal Law "On Amendments to the Federal Law" On Electricity "in terms of the development microgeneration ".
So, according to this law, any consumer who decides to install an individual solar installation maximum total power up to 15 kW, now has the right to legally sell the remaining unused surplus to the network.
It turns out if you have your own solar station, which, for example, on a bright sunny day produces 15 kW, and your household consumes, say, 3 kW, now the remaining surplus in the form of 12 kW will not be generated wasted. If you don't have rechargeable batteries, you can sell them for a specific price, which will surely accelerate the return on investment of your installation.
And subsequently it will even start to bring some profit.
For reference. Similar laws and their own "green" tariffs have long been in place in many countries. So in Germany, the state buys the surplus produced by private solar and wind installations at a price of 12 eurocents per 1 kW and is already reselling this energy for 18 eurocents. So everyone is in the black.
The energy received from the sun can be sold to guaranteeing suppliers and other energy sales organizations, but only after the following conditions are met:
- To sell electricity, it will be necessary to ensure the technical connection of the micro-generation facility (your installation) to the supply networks.
- It will also be necessary to conclude a separate sales contract with the supplier of last resort.
It is also noted that energy sales organizations do not have the right to refuse to purchase and conclude an agreement. Only purchases will be made at wholesale prices, which is significantly lower than the retail price at which ordinary consumers buy electricity.
