A detailed overview of the Leliten headlamp
Hello dear visitors of my site! Today I want to talk with you about such, perhaps, an indispensable gadget in the household, like a headlamp.
Having decided to find a replacement for my old man who had failed, I turned my gaze to the Chinese counterparts on the well-known website and decided to purchase such a lantern. I'll tell you about him now.
Cost and delivery
I basically did not consider expensive models and tried to choose the most affordable and at the same time with acceptable quality. After reading a bunch of reviews, I settled on a Leliten headlamp.
So I ordered it for 240 rubles with free shipping. There was an option to order right away with an 18650 battery, but I was not impressed by the screenshots the proposed battery, so I decided to use a trusted store and bought one element in another location.
Delivery was exactly two weeks, and everything came in an ordinary soft bag, wrapped in a double layer of bubble wrap. Thank God, nothing was damaged during the shipment.
Headlamp Features
Now let's briefly go over the technical parameters. So, this gadget is powered by a single 18650 cell.
There are two separate LED light sources COB and XPE, each controlled by a different key.
This gadget is charged via a standard micro USB connector. It was also covered with a waterproof plug. She was blatantly ripped out by my little daughter.
The luminaire has three modes:
- Weak light.
- Strong light.
- Stratoscope.
The total declared power of the flashlight is 10 watts. There is a board inside WX6972.
Soldering is rough and flux is not washed out everywhere.
Well, now let's look at all the disadvantages and advantages of this gadget.
Advantages and disadvantages of a headlamp
So, having studied this gadget closely, I found both advantages and disadvantages in it:
pros
The pluses include the following points:
- Flashlight price. It is significantly lower than that of many competitors.
- Good quality rubber band.
- Bright light and two independent light sources. Even if one fails, the second will remain in operation.
- The buttons are protected from moisture and rain.
- The battery is removable and can be easily replaced, which is very convenient (as for me).
- The body is made of durable plastic. Thanks to my daughter, she gave me the pleasure to test the strength of the flashlight, having dropped it more than once, and it remained in working order.
Now let's move on to the disadvantages
The first drawback that I identified was the rather weak attachment of the cuff to the lamp body. The mechanism for tilting and fixing the flashlight also looks rather weak.
In my opinion, with enough intensive use, the notches will still be erased and you will have to firmly fix the flashlight in one position.
I will also refer to the weak fixation of the protective plug of the charging socket as a minus. The on and off buttons are much better protected.
Well, about the shortcomings, perhaps all.
In the video, I disassembled this gadget in more detail, so you are welcome to watch.
