A blooming orchid is an amazing sight that will take your breath away, so I try to prolong the life of the buds. A cheap pharmaceutical product succinic acid helps to cope with this task.

Beneficial features

Succinic acid has a number of advantages. I would highlight its main advantages:

1. After her, the flower forms ovaries better, and the number of inflorescences increases on it, and the buds become an order of magnitude larger. Previously, there were a maximum of 5 buds on the peduncle, this time as many as 8 appeared.

2. The duration of flowering increases, the buds do not dry for the second month already, they all also delight me with their magnificent appearance.

3. Another big plus is that the acid has a stimulating effect on the flower, and it throws out the children. There is an opportunity to get a new orchid.

4. The acid helps to revive the plant, after a few sprays, the flower comes to life.

Also, my flower stopped hurting, it has grown foliage, expanded in breadth. All this was provided by succinic acid.

Preparation and application

In order for the product to have the desired effect, it must be properly prepared, I use the following recipe:

I grind the tablet with a spoon to a powder state;

· I dissolve the active ingredient in an amount of 0.1 grams in 0.5 liters of water;

· Then add fresh water to one liter;

Stir everything thoroughly so that the powder is completely dissolved.

Actually, with this my effective solution is ready. I prepare the product just before use. The fact is that some substances in the composition of the acid tend to evaporate, and the solution loses some of its beneficial properties.

To increase the duration of flowering, or vice versa, to stimulate the flower to eject a peduncle, I spray the flower, and also moisturize the roots by immersing them in a solution.

You can wipe the leaves and other parts of the plant with a sponge dipped in a solution of succinic acid. But in this case, you need to ensure that the fluid does not accumulate in the sinuses.

As for the frequency of events, one moistening of the roots in 10-15 days is enough for my orchids, I spray more often - once a week.

Succinic acid should not be feared for an overdose, it is a kind of dietary supplement that stimulates all vital processes in the plant. Due to this, the flower begins to grow and develop better, more often, more abundantly and longer bloom.
