It so happens that almost all of the Orchid's Leaves have fallen off. I will tell you how to urgently revive the plant without much hassle
I, of course, have been breeding houseplants for a very long time. And in my flower garden there are such beautiful flowers as orchids. But, I became the owner of the first orchid by accident.
My mother works as a teacher, and once grateful students gave her this wonderful flower for a holiday. She was delighted with such a gift, but was at a loss, because she did not have time at all to fiddle with flowers.
And her fears were not in vain, after a while the plant shed flowers, and the leaves began to turn yellow and fall off. When I saw this deplorable picture and made a remark to my mother.
Then she invited me to take the flower with me, as I love indoor plants. I agreed to this proposal.
The situation seemed almost hopeless to me, but I was not used to giving in to difficulties and decided to carry out an operation to save the plant. Next, I'll tell you about how I brought the orchid back to life.
What conditions are necessary for the resuscitation of a dying plant, in particular orchids
You need to start saving the orchid as early as possible, while there are still chances of this. At this time, you need to make sure that excellent conditions are created for the flower.
· First, it is, of course, the correct temperature. It should be approximately 23 degrees.
· Secondly, care must be taken to maintain a high level of humidity around the flower.
· Watering should be frequent, but not plentiful. Indeed, due to the lack of leaves, moisture can stagnate.
· A prerequisite is additional lighting with lamps.
What is the treatment process
First, the roots are viewed and all diseased and rotten areas are cut off. The work is carried out very carefully, and the cut sites are treated with antiseptic agents. Then the roots are sent to a container with a nutrient medium.
For example, I used a solution of succinic acid. It promotes the rapid formation of new roots. After I transplanted the orchid into the bark and moss, I covered the orchid with a jar. I do so often when replanting plants to increase the humidity.
Soon the first leaves began to hatch. I started feeding my flower with potash and phosphorus fertilizers, and it quickly recovered.
After the orchid began to delight me with beautiful flowers, I decided to have a few more copies. If you properly care for this plant, then it grows well and is rather unpretentious.
