We prepare the "correct" Soil and get strong Seedlings, and then an excellent Harvest

I used to buy seedlings of garden crops in the market. But then I was disappointed in her, I could not grow anything worthy from purchased seedlings. And for quite a few years now I have been growing seedlings myself.

During this time, I realized that the quality of the seedlings and, of course, the amount of the future harvest directly depended on what soil I used.

In this article I want to share some tips on how to prepare this good soil. Many people probably think that the soil with all the additives can be purchased in stores.

This will of course be much easier. But often there is a lot of peat in store-bought soils, which quickly turns into a dense lump. And such a lump is not so easy to soak with water.

In addition, the fibers that are part of the store soil significantly reduce the ability of seeds to break through them.

Therefore, I advise all gardeners not to be lazy and prepare the soil with their own hands.

Homemade soil components

· First you need to remove the layer of soil along with the grass and shake it off. This land will be the main component of the soil.

· Next, you should go to the forest and collect some land from there. This is necessary in order to saturate the soil with decayed leaves. And such land is freely available only in the forest. But you cannot take land near conifers, oaks and willows.

· And an important component is river sand.

Stages of preparing the "right" soil

This process is very simple. I just take all these ingredients and mix them. The amount of each component must be the same. I also add a glass of regular wood ash to each bucket of this soil.

Such soil has, of course, its drawbacks. It may contain larvae of pests or causative agents of some diseases that will prevent plants from developing normally.

But this problem can be easily dealt with. There are three ways for this procedure.

If you are a person who prefers to prepare the soil in advance, then you can take it out into the cold in winter. This procedure is carried out several times.

And only after that you can be sure that the earth is disinfected. In addition to frost, you can act on pests with heat. The earth is simply calcined in the oven.

Just before that, the ground should be slightly moistened. If you prepare the soil just before planting the seeds, then it can be disinfected by holding it over steam for a few minutes.
