Ideal seedlings thanks to the ancient feeding method.
Yeast feeding is used quite often, because yeast contains many trace elements and minerals. The soil, which is watered with such top dressing, becomes more fertile.
The big plus of this top dressing is the fact that it is easy to prepare and can even be used for seedlings.
Experienced gardeners use yeast to feed plants throughout the season.
This top dressing is so attractive for gardeners not only because of its effectiveness, but also because of its availability and low cost.
Why is yeast so good for seedlings?
First of all, it is worth mentioning that yeast helps to strengthen the immunity of seedlings. Young sprouts become stronger and less sick.
Also, the root system of seedlings develops better.
It is worth feeding the seedlings with yeast for the first time, as you will immediately notice the progress: the plants will become "more fun".
The color of the leaves will be more intense and the seedlings will look strong and healthy. When the time comes to dive the plants, you will not be afraid to damage the young seedlings.
How to make a wonderful yeast feed?
Considering that there are usually not so many seedlings, take 1 liter of warm water and add 10 grams of dry yeast to it. Then we leave the yeast in a warm place and wait for it to "work".
As soon as foam appears on the surface, pour the contents of the can into a bucket of water. For 1 liter of concentrate, I usually take 10 liters of water. After mixing the solution, leave it for another day.
I also dilute this top dressing with water (1: 4).
Method for feeding seedlings with prepared yeast solution
The first time it is best to feed the seedlings when they have two leaves.
The next feeding should be carried out no earlier than two weeks after the seedlings are dived into separate containers.
