What happens if cola is mixed with milk
Hello dear subscribers and guests of my channel! Tell me do you like experiments?
Then I want to entertain you today with a very simple but interesting experiment that you can easily repeat at home. Interesting? Then let's get started.
Preparing for the experiment
So, in order to perform this simplest experiment, we need only two ingredients:
- A glass of milk.
- A small bottle of Cola.
Everything, as you can see, there are not so many ingredients. Now you can start to experience directly.
To do this, remove the label to the bottle (to better observe the progress of the reaction), open the lid and pour some cola.
Now take a glass of milk and pour it into your soda bottle. Then shake gently and place on the table.
Everything, now watch what will happen. By the way, the process is not quick, and the final result will be visible in a couple of hours.
But what exactly will turn out, take a look here in this video.
Explaining experience
An original experiment, isn't it? Do you know what happened just before your eyes? What happened was nothing more than an ordinary chemical reaction:
The carbonated drink contains a fairly large amount of phosphoric acid, which reacts actively with milk proteins.
As a result of this, tricalcium phosphate is created and, in addition, hydrogen. And the milk becomes more dense and falls out in the form of unpleasant flakes. And the rest of the water rises up.
Did you like the experiment? Then rate the article and video by likes and repost. Write in the comments what other unusual experiences you would like to see and then repeat.
Thank you for your attention!
