Installation of laminate on the ceiling and walls
What material or covering to make the ceiling from - this question is especially acute in houses with an attic floor. The ceiling can be touched by children, guests and adults themselves, leaving marks on the painted ceiling made of gypsum plasterboard.
But the laminate ceiling is a practical solution, one can say for the entire life of the house. You can choose under a tree or in light colors, integrating into the interior design idea.
An aluminum profile can be embedded in the ceiling for laying the LED strip light. Or integrate LED panels. Get away from the classic solution with chandeliers and lamps. Otherwise, the lighting in the attic may look unexpected - like in the third slide.
The laminate ceiling also looks beautiful in the interior of a full floor, if you add wooden beams to it. They are hollow. They are on sale, or they will be made in any carpentry workshop. But making them yourself is not difficult.
False beams are made from brushed boards (the surface is processed with a wire attachment for a grinder). With a circular saw, one edge is sawn off at 45 grams. Then it is covered with impregnation. The laminate is fastened with self-tapping screws along the edges. Bars are screwed onto the seam, and false beams are screwed to them.
The ceiling can be made according to the same principle and from a regular floor board - also brushed, stained and varnished. Perhaps it will be even cheaper, but also more work. LED luminaires are built into the beams. This technique is more interesting than just lining.
On the concrete ceiling, the laminate is mounted like the gypsum board, only clamps are needed for the lining. If the ceiling is without steps, flat and horizontal, then installation can be done on wooden blocks.
This false girder technique is an idea for houses with timber joists. The beams are trimmed with wood, the ceiling is hemmed with a laminate or brushed board and the ceiling will not drop by 10-15 cm.
The installation of the laminate on the wall is done differently - it is carried out on glue-foam (if the walls are even). One of the most informative videos on this topic with a description of the entire process:
Laminate on the walls is a solution for high traffic areas. Such as: entrance lobbies, corridors. Yes, and just highlighting one wall in the interior for contrast is also a good idea.

You can, of course, do this with tiles. But the tile looks kind of cold. Working with laminate flooring is faster and more enjoyable. no wet works like with tiles.
