The son built a beautiful gazebo for his mother in the country - Photo of work and result

The mother went on a well-deserved rest. The woman spent most of her free time in the country. She had long dreamed of her own gazebo, where on warm summer evenings she could rest from everyday worries.

The son dared to fulfill this dream. The result is great. All relatives and neighbors cannot believe that this miracle was done by a young guy.

The whole project was done by ourselves. The first step was to start land work: it is necessary to select a flat area, after which the soil was removed. Several wheelchairs of gravel were brought to the flat area. We made the top bed with gravel.

These measures will help the gazebo to stand for a long time and not sag. It was decided to install the structure on concrete piles: this type of foundation will allow the main frame to avoid unplanned rot and dampness.

The building has a hexagonal shape. The bottom is made of finished timber, it was fastened according to the shape. For fasteners, simple metal corners were used, which were fastened with a screwdriver.

At this stage, the wooden bases were impregnated: protection from wood decay. The curbstones were laid with roofing material, a simple material, it will cope well with the functions of waterproofing.

Six supports in the form of square pillars were fixed to the base, and the roof was fastened to them. The resulting holes were sewn up with edged boards of different sizes. The floor looks more like parquet, it is tightly laid, the existing slots allow for natural ventilation.

Gradually, the building took on the appearance of a gazebo. Roofing works were carried out in dry weather. Flexible ondulin was used as a roof covering, it is perfectly mounted and easily takes any shape. The material is durable.

A bench was made inside, it is located along a circular radius, in the future they plan to make a table. All wooden parts were impregnated with a special solution and painted with yacht varnish.

Six adults can easily fit in this space, they can calmly sit down. The gazebo has acquired its original color, and its unusual hexagonal shape fits wonderfully into the garden landscape.

The result is one: the guy coped with the task one hundred percent.
