Nice renovation of a kitchen 5 m2 in Khrushchev - rarely does anyone manage to place everything so conveniently

Tiny kitchenettes 5-6 meters squared are very common in the post-Soviet space. And not every new building has apartments with a large area.

Convenient furnishing of such a kitchenette and accommodating everything you need is a real art. A young family who made repairs in a recently purchased apartment of an old fund succeeded.

Often, in small-sized rooms, residents put a refrigerator not in the kitchen, but in the corridor so that it does not take up extra space. But here the owners managed to fit a full-size two-chamber unit in the corner, between the window and the stove.

The interior itself is made in pleasant white and beige shades.

They decided to install a three-burner hob - albeit a little, but it still saved space on the work surface. The oven is close to the refrigerator, but there is no danger in this - there is a gasket made of heat-insulating material between them.

A patchwork backsplash gives the kitchen a cozy feel.

The wide window sill played a significant role here. It served as a place for a microwave oven and a coffee machine. The window itself is decorated with neat roll-up curtains.

The sink made very conveniently - it is not in the corner, as is often the case in similar kitchens, but in the side countertop, close to the edge.

The furniture is also quite functional, with many storage areas. The only negative is the pens on the cafes. They are bulky and rude.

The entire work area is illuminated by LED lamps built into the cabinets and hood.

The dining area is very nicely decorated. The walls here are covered with wallpaper imitating light stone. In the corner is a compact table with miniature stools. There is a beautiful decoration on the wall in the form of clocks and shelves. And underneath is a small TV.

Thus, for 5 sq. meters, the tenants managed to arrange all the necessary household appliances, furniture, so much so that the space does not look cluttered. Everything is very nice and harmonious.

The owners are real fellows that they were able to organize their tiny kitchen so competently. Even a small dishwasher was built in.
