We bought a one-room apartment in an old socket with a post-Soviet atmosphere - they made a simple but modern renovation. Before / after photos
In the panel high-rise buildings of the old fund, there are very successful layouts and rather large one-room apartments. Rather than taking on a mortgage a tiny odnushka in a new house, the young family decided to buy more spacious housing for the same money, albeit in an old house.
Recently, no one bothers with the removal of old furniture from sold apartments. So the new tenants got a living space with post-Soviet renovation.
Kitchen before renovation:
In general, the condition of the apartment was not bad; it is clear that the previous owners were clean. But the interior itself is pretty outdated, and the new owners decided to make an inexpensive but modern renovation.
The color scheme was chosen in cold shades with a predominance of gray and white colors.
Everything in the kitchen was replaced: floors, furniture, doors, walls and ceiling were repainted.
The kitchen set was ordered laconic, with smooth facades - the upper cabinets are white, the lower ones are gray-blue.
The floor tiles were changed to gray, and household appliances were updated. An apron with patterned tiles looks very nice. The kitchen turned out to be fresh and stylish, although it is clear that the furniture and finishing materials are used here from the budget category.
The apartment has a large living room that doubles as a bedroom. The previous owners removed the partition in the closet (the door to it was from the corridor), and made this nook a sleeping place.
But the new tenants decided to return the storage room, making it a dressing room. This time they brought out the door to the living room. A large folding sofa will serve as both a resting place and a bed.
The interior here was made minimalistic, also in gray shades. Stylish and concise. The room is not yet inhabited, so it seems empty and cold. But textiles on the windows, carpet on the floor and other household decor will make it more comfortable.
The apartment has a narrow but glazed balcony. Before the renovation, it looked pretty neat - it was trimmed with light PVC panels.
But the owners decided to keep the same style in everything and repaired it, painting the walls gray, insulating the space under the window, making a wide window sill and laying the same laminate on the floor as in the hall.
The one-room apartment has acquired a fresh, modern, stylish look and is ready for the arrival of new residents.
❓❓❓ And how do you like this renovation, did you like it or was “before” better, more comfortable?
