PET bottle multimeter case. I thought it wouldn't work
This is not my first device, the inconvenience of storing it is caused by a cardboard box, which is a package. With frequent carrying, it is erased and falls apart, there is also very little space. there is a simple way to extend the life of a box, for this, you need to laminate it with transparent tape, and after its abrasion, stick a new one. But today I decided to go the other way.
New case
I decided to make a case from a plastic 2-liter bottle, I had been hatching the idea for a long time, it's time to implement it, for this it took four blocks of chipboard. Sawed them off to the right size, wound them together with masking tape, put knitting needles between them, since I will use the heat-shrinking properties of plastic, heating it with a hairdryer.
Since the bottle tightly squeezes the prepared form, it will be possible to remove it only by removing the knitting needles, which will reduce the volume and allow you to pull out the bars. Everything worked out as planned, but,
to get the workpiece, I had to screw in a self-tapping screw and drag it with pliersdespite the spacers removed, the shape "sat" quite tightly. With the second bottle, repeat the previous operation so that the case was inserted into the case, but then changed his mind and decided to cut out the closing valve, one edge of which was fixed to the case with a soldering iron. Burn two rows of holes, and for reliability I stitched with a fishing line, now not only a device with probes can be freely placed in the box, but there is also room for useful little things. The bottom turned out to be not very presentable, it could have been sewn up like an upper flap, but it suited me.
