How to feed strawberries before flowering, so that it pleases with a rich harvest and large berries
I spend the first feeding of strawberries immediately after the snow melts and when the earth dries up. To prevent infection from pathogens, fungal diseases, I remove dry leaves from bushes, last year's mulch, weeds. If you did not have time to do this procedure in April, then in early May, before flowering, you can still do everything.
Before feeding, I spill the strawberries with water, since any fertilizers must be applied on wet soil so as not to burn the plant roots. I carry out a surface loosening around each bush to avoid damage to the roots.
Then sprinkle with ashes in the amount of 2 handfuls per plant.
It is a natural phosphorus-potassium fertilizer that contains a wide variety of other macro- and microelements. The soil becomes looser, more breathable due to ash, it protects the root system from putrefactive diseases.
I also put 2 handfuls of humus or compost under each strawberry bush.
After applying organic matter and natural mineral fertilizer (ash) to the soil, I loosen the soil again.

You will need boric acid, which is previously dissolved in hot water in a small container (2 grams are taken per 10 liters of water).
Boron increases the formation of the number of ovaries. After complete dissolution of boric acid in hot water, pour the resulting liquid into a bucket of water at room temperature.
Then I add 15 drops of a 5% iodine solution, 2 grams of potassium permanganate (slightly less than half a teaspoon), 2 tablespoons of urea to the container. Stir the ingredients in a bucket thoroughly. The resulting solution should be applied immediately after preparation. I water the strawberries at the rate of 0.5 liters per bush.
