It will seem strange to some. But you need to start spring care not with cleaning the flower bed, but with a thorough spill of peony bushes. You will understand why a little later.
And now you need to stir in 10 liters of water (standard garden bucket) 3 g of good old potassium permanganate. It is important that the crystals dissolve completely. An excellent antiseptic for the garden that destroys bacteria and fungi. It remains to shed each peony bush - from 3 to 5 liters of disinfectant solution is spent on one plant. The volume directly depends on the size of the bush.

The main thing is feeding
I will not sing an ode to fertilizers again. Let me just remind you that nitrogen stimulates the growth of the green part of the peony bush, and potassium with phosphorus is needed for good flowering, the development of roots and flower buds. Peony also needs microelements: boron, calcium, magnesium, but already of secondary importance.
I will write a list of possible peony dressings in spring:
- For 10 liters of water - 10 g of nitrogen fertilizer (for example, ammonium nitrate), 20 g of phosphoric (for example, superphosphate) and 30 g of potassium (for example, potassium salt). Dissolve, spill.
- The easiest option is to scatter the same granules under watering as in the previous point, either "Nitroammofosku 20:20:20" or the ready-made complex mineral fertilizer "Spring".
- Additionally, 10 days after the main treat, you can pamper the peony with calcium nitrate and, after 2 weeks, magnesium sulfate. According to the instructions.
