Interfloor wooden trusses for do-it-yourself floors

IN this articlethe method and technology of self-production of I-beams was shown. Not all readers understand why such difficulties are, because you can use a bar. And the plus is that I-beams allow you to choose any thickness of insulation.

Let's continue this topic. We look at how a wooden truss for floor beams is made:

For assembly, you need a long table - the length of the beam. The table should have a strict plane, without bends. Accuracy can be achieved with a laser level, measuring the height every 0.5 m. The legs of the table, the stand for the table top are X-shaped.

Using the beam of the laser level, we fasten the bars to the tabletop to fix the truss rafters. And to these bars we fasten the frame of the farm itself. This will allow you to maintain the strict geometry of the floor beams. Next, we fasten the end vertical bars 100x50 mm of the future farm. The wood must be dry. Chamber drying is desirable.

With a circular saw of a strictly defined length, we saw the diagonal elements of the truss. We coat the ends with carpentry glue and set them in place inside the frame. To speed up the process, you need a pneumatic or electric gun.

Next, we install internal horizontal elements on the glue. We drill holes in the outer horizontal beams and screw them to the inner ones. To fix the bars inside the truss and to increase the strength at their joints, it is necessary to cut plywood plates with a minimum thickness of 12 mm. They are nailed down. Next, the truss is unscrewed from the table and the plywood plates are nailed from the back.

Type of finished products at the facility. The process itself is shown in the video:

According to my calculations, 1 farm with a length of 8 m requires approximately 0.3 m3 of sawn timber. If the lumber is kiln dried, this costs 5 thousand. for one farm. For a house width of 10 m with a step of 0.6 m, 17 farms are needed for the amount 85 thous. rub.

If you think that this is an outdated technology, what analogue can you offer for a length of 8m? The technology is still used today. For the Universiade 2018 in Krasnoyarsk, the Yenisei stadium was completely reconstructed. The dome was built using the same technology:
