Night lamp from an old book
Greetings, dear subscribers to the Kulibiny channel. I found for you another funny homemade product that can be done quickly enough, even if your hands are not very sharpened to work with the tool 😁
This is a night lamp from an ordinary old book. The main thing here is that the book has a rigid support that can keep the shape of the lamp.
First of all, we make a cutout in the binding area, as shown in the photo. The cutout should be large enough to fit the bulb with the socket and still have free space.
Next, the author took a metal rail and attached a socket with a wire to it to install the lamp.
Please note that the width and length of the metal river is such that it can easily enter the interior of the book binding.
This is how the frame is inserted into the inside of the binding of the book. In this case, no additional fasteners are required.
Now, in the corners of the book's spread, you need to drill through holes of such a diameter so that you can stretch the lace into it. I think a 6mm drill is enough.
Insert a shoe lace into the drilled holes. You can use any other decorative thread, here it is at your discretion.
At the final stage, we screw in the light bulb. Please note that the author used an incandescent lamp, but I would not do this, given that it heats up and, when combined with paper, can lead to unpleasant consequences.
Better to use an LED light bulb.
That's all. We open the book as shown in the photo. The cord is used to hold the sheets of the book in the desired position and keep their shape. By the way, the book-lamp can not only be placed on the table, but also attached to the wall.
