Charming interior of a small (39 m2) family room
A young married couple bought an apartment with an area of only 39 sq. m. With the right approach to interior design, even in small apartments, you can create a comfortable environment for living.
It is not at all necessary to have a spacious home, it is important to make it beautiful and as functional as possible.
A professional designer helped to decorate the apartment in the same style: @rerooms_design.
The hallway was decorated in white. Here they put a clothes hanger, a closed shoe cabinet, a hanging cabinet, a spacious wardrobe with mirrored doors and a small chest of drawers. Light marbled tiles were laid on the floor.
In the kitchen area, a corner set with white and gray facades was installed, the upper cabinets were extended to the ceiling to provide more storage space for kitchen utensils.
Compact models of modern household appliances in black fit perfectly into the interior of the kitchen, and complemented the black countertop. For finishing the kitchen apron, they used small silver-colored tiles.
A small partition was installed between the kitchen and the living room. The walls in the living room were painted with gray-brown paint, here they put a gray-beige sofa with velor upholstery and a small table. A TV was hung on the opposite wall.
The wall opposite the kitchen unit was finished with mirrored tiles. There was a white rectangular table and chairs. This area was supplemented with original pendant lights.
The bedroom was decorated in white and beige colors. A carpet was laid on top of the laminate. A white double bed was installed in the center of the room. A dressing table with a mirror was placed near the window.
A space for a chest of drawers and a TV was allocated opposite the bed. The wall at the edges of the bed was supplemented with mirror tiles, and white bedside tables were also installed here.
The bathroom was finished with marble tiles. A washing machine was placed here, next to a cabinet with a washbasin. Hanging cabinets were also fixed on top, one of which with a mirror.
The classic bathtub was separated by a transparent glass screen. Here, open shelves were made in the wall for storing cosmetics and bath accessories. A compact toilet with installation was installed near the entrance.
The apartment is small, but properly selected materials allowed to create a modern and beautiful design. The spouses are very pleased with the result, they are happy to spend time at home.
