How to keep your money in the trash can? Or 5 products that can be frozen

Cooking food in the kitchen, or rather, the process of transforming products into ready-made meals, is not as simple as it seems! You can perform “honed” culinary rituals every day, spend a lot of time on it, and turn a blind eye to the regular filling of the waste bin. At the same time, not only potato peel or an empty can of olives will fall into it, but also a considerable part of edible products. And why?

Good afternoon dear friends!

Yes, because you simply do not have time to process the previously purchased products, some of which, after a fairly short time, become unsuitable for eating. Therefore, your task is to preserve them correctly, or rather, freeze them! And then you will be able not only to save your family budget, but also to significantly reduce the time spent in the kitchen! After all, it is much easier and faster to “work” with blanks. And how to do it and what foods easily tolerate freezing, I'll tell you a little below.

Don't wait for the food to spoil. Prevent this process by regularly reviewing the contents in your refrigerator!

1.Cheese. To properly freeze the cheese, it is enough to fulfill only one condition. Before placing cheese in the freezer, remove the wrapping and allow time to warm up to room temperature. Then put the cheese in a new vacuum and add a tablespoon of cornstarch. All!

Do you often use cheese in your meals? Wonderful! Grate it, put it in sachets in portions and keep it that way for at least a few months.

2.Rice. Pre-boil the rice, and then put it on a baking sheet and send it to the freezer. When it freezes, place it in portions in plastic containers or regular disposable bags. Done!

Now, the next time you decide to make meatballs, stuffed peppers or even an Italian risotto, you don't have to waste your time cooking this cereal.

3.Tomatoes. Even a berry like a tomato can go through the freezing process with dignity. Despite its delicate and vulnerable texture. It only takes a little time to prepare the fetus, but it's worth it! First, bake the tomato slices (about 3-4 hours) in the oven at low temperature. Then add the garlic and herbs of your choice, and at the end sprinkle the berry with olive or vegetable oil. After baking and cooling, you can safely send the tomato to the freezer.

From now on, the most important tomato ingredient for preparing all kinds of dishes will always be at your fingertips!

4.Pancakes and waffles. Pancakes from a supermarket freezer have long been a product of no surprise. So what prevents you from doing the same at home? Stuffed or regular pancakes, fruit or meat... Freeze on a pallet and then pack in portions.

The same process can be repeated with waffles. The only thing is, it will be better if you reheat the waffles in a toaster, and not in a microwave.

5.Corn. There is practically no need to prepare this cereal for freezing! All you need to do is put the ears of corn in the freezer. The main condition is to preserve the leaves, they perform a protective function for corn, both during the freezing period and at the time of its preparation.

Now, whenever you want to taste some fresh corn, simply boil it on the stove, as you would with a freshly picked ear.
