An effective way to get an early harvest of zucchini in early June.

There is no vegetable garden where zucchini is not grown. And this is understandable: this vegetable does not require special care, and you can simply cook a huge number of dishes from it.

And how everyone is waiting for the first young zucchini to appear in early summer to enjoy their delicate taste!

No special wisdom is required to get an early harvest. You just need to follow some important recommendations that have been verified through the personal experience of experienced gardeners.

Important tips for planting and growing zucchini:

1. Before planting, the seeds should be disinfected: for this, you need to dilute the potassium permanganate in water to a dark pink color and lower the seeds there for a few minutes. Then the seeds are washed with clean water and after such procedures the seed is ready for use.

2. Proper preparation of the planting site plays an important role in obtaining an early harvest.

To protect zucchini from hypothermia, you should build such a structure: the old is struggling wooden barrel and filled with dry foliage, grass, twigs, and rotted compost.

Then the contents of the barrel are watered abundantly so that the compost settles by 15-20 cm, forming a comfortable place for planting zucchini, protected by bumpers from wind and cold.

Planting time depends on the weather, but around the end of April, it is already possible to sow seeds. If there is still a threat of frost, then the barrel should be thoroughly insulated.

After planting, the barrel is covered with a film on top. From time to time, it is removed so that watering can be done. When the weather is warm and sunny, you can remove the covering material.

But as soon as the sun is hidden, be sure to cover the zucchini securely.
When the weather settles, you can transplant some of the seedlings into the beds and leave a few in the barrel.

Zucchini really like the soil with a lot of compost, so the harvest will be quite abundant.
