How a comfortable, branded bed began to look unfavorable

I am one of those buyers who appreciate beautiful, high-quality things. I am ready to overpay more if I am sure that the purchase is really worth it.

This is what happened 2 years ago when I decided to buy the Ascona bed. Absolutely confident in my choice, I went to the store.

Of course, the variety of models amazed me. Especially, the question arose of what parts of the frame and the head of the bed itself should be made of - fabric or leatherette.

Without thinking for a long time, I settled on a middle class leatherette. I chose white. A prerequisite was the presence of a lifting mechanism.

I have a small apartment, I need more free space. We can say that this function of the bed has become for me the biggest plus in its application.

I couldn't get enough of my purchase! I chose the size of the bed - 2 m / 2.20 m, the mattress (hourglass) came out - 1.8 m / 2 m. Comfort and sound, healthy sleep delighted me from day to day.

Disappointment with your own choice

Unfortunately, after 2 years of careful use of the bed, all of its headboard and parts of the frame began to peel off.

The beauty of the bed quickly disappeared, leaving a complete disappointment from its appearance. In addition, the frame began to creak on one side.

Of course, this did not affect my sleep and comfort in any way. It just became unpleasant, because I trusted a well-known brand and received an indelible discomfort in return.

As a result, I will have to re-do the constriction of all parts of the bed, where there is leatherette. Now I am lost in doubts whether it is worth pulling it into the same material or leaning towards the choice of fabric. It is not known if the new bed upgrade will lead to better results.
