How to get rid of condensation on mirrors easily

I heard a long time ago that you can get rid of steam on the mirror in a simple way and so, I decided to double-check how effective it is and whether it is too nasty. After my morning shower, when I couldn't shave quickly because of the foggy mirror, I realized that something had to be done. And here's what happened.

To prevent the couple from sitting on the mirror, even a cold one, it is worth wipe with any shampoo. I applied a whole drop of foaming agent to a clean and not greasy sponge, and for the experiment I wiped not the entire mirror, but only half, doing it diagonally.

The foam dried quickly, after which the foam area was additionally wiped with a dry paper towel to remove stains from the shampoo.

After steam appeared in the bathroom.

Already in the evening, I specially turned on a hot shower and after a couple of minutes you could watch like a mirror fogged up only on the half not treated with shampoo, and the second half did not cloud at all and after a lot minutes. In other words, steam was not going to accumulate on it at all. The physics of this process is still little understood for me, but I was convinced that the method is effective.
