Not only in the wild, but also in a well-groomed summer cottage, you can meet with poisonous plants, interaction with which can lead not only to burns, cuts and poisoning, but also to death. Despite their beauty and grace, they pose a great danger to humans and animals. And in order to protect my children and pets, I decided to study the "enemy", and now I will share the knowledge I have gained about the most common of them in our summer cottages with you.

The list is headed by common castor oil, or as the common people call castor oil. I think this is the most dangerous plant in general. If you eat 4-5 pcs. seeds, and they are especially poisonous, they will lead to death. Smaller doses cause irreparable harm to health, because the poison ricin and ricinin, which it contains, destroys body tissues.

I put elderberry in second place in danger. The most common representatives are the red and black elderberry. All parts of the plant are poisonous, except for the berries. What is amazing even compote is made from ripe berries! The first symptoms of elderberry poisoning are headache, weakness, and abdominal pain. Possible heart failure and respiratory arrest.

Next, I'll tell you about the spurge. It can be found in many species that differ in appearance: some look like a cactus, others like pretty flowers. Milkweed juice leaves painful burns, which then turn into malaise, swelling and fever.

Then there will be lilies of the valley. Yes, yes, the same ones that we plant in flower beds and gardens. All parts of the plant are lethal to humans. Even the water in which they stood becomes toxic. The plant contains the deadly poison konvallatoxin, which increases the contraction of the heart muscle. The high toxicity of this poison in the body can cause cardiac arrest.

Belladonna is not as common as the rest of our list. These plants are immediately striking due to their greenish-purple flowers and bright shiny berries. All this beauty and even the roots are toxic. If you eat at least a handful of these berries, then soon a person will lose his voice, then breathing problems, convulsions occur. The seizure stage is usually fatal.
