Feeding lilies in May

From the author: My husband, unlike me, does not like garden flowers. He loves potatoes because they can be eaten. He loves cucumbers because they can be pickled. But even my husband, who is not delighted with the scent of the flower beds, said that year that "Wow, these are lilies!"
I will write to you about 2 feeding lilies in May, which I consider mandatory. You can choose one of them. But it is the use of the fertilizer duo that leads to the "Wow" effect.
The first and most important thing is top dressing. We remember that any plant needs nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium for full development. And the last two substances directly affect flowering! But you shouldn't forget about nitrogen either) Formula of a successful mixture:
- nitrogen fertilizer - 10 g;
- phosphorus and potash fertilizer - 15 g each.
For example, I use urea, superphosphate, and potassium salt. In stores, you can find ready-made compositions so as not to bother with mixing. Look at the composition: the main thing is that there is more potassium and phosphorus.
I scatter the fertilizer granules between the lilies by the eye. But lately I prefer to prepare a fertilizer solution: it acts faster. This means that the lilies will sooner receive the nutrition they need for lush flowering.
And now the top dressing, which I call the Blossom Blaster. Applicable, by the way, for any plants blooming in the country:
Among the fertilizers gathering dust on store shelves, there is a real gem: potassium monophosphate. The record phosphorus content, harmoniously supplemented by potassium, makes the lilies show enchanting bloom.
The best feeding option is with a solution on the sheet: 1 g per 1 liter of water. For your convenience, I will write that this is about 1/4 teaspoon.
