How to make a water plug with a coin. It can be useful
Ways to help you get out of unplanned situations will always come in handy. I had to repair the plumbing, and sometimes, there was no necessary part, I had to get out.
Non-standard plug
Recently, it was necessary to remove the tiles in order to grind the grooves for laying the pipes, then install a mixer on the wall, having previously returned the tiles to their place. And since this process is not fast, the disconnected pipes had to be plugged for further use with water, the fittings were with external threads. Having rummaged in spare parts, I found only one plug, but I had clamping nuts from old fittings.
I think every master, who is so good in bulk, had an idea how to use them instead of a stub, since it was already too late to go to the store for a new one. To do this, you need to pick up a coin that fits the inner diameter, put it inside, and then install the gasket, and that's it! The plug is ready!
And I tried two options, one is when you first put in a coin, and then a gasket, and vice versa, first there is a gasket, followed by a coin.
One of these impromptu stubs has been in my possession for six months and does its job. But, of course, it is better to use them as a temporary option, where they will still be filmed. How do you like this idea, maybe, you know, other ways to solve this problem?
