Are you tired of flowers and bushes that all gardeners and summer residents have? I will tell you about quite rare beautiful plants that are rarely found in the garden and delight the eyes for many years.

1. Japanese spirea

I love spirea because it blooms brightly all summer and does not require any maintenance. Its inflorescences are always colorful, in spring they can be compared to a red caramel apple, which turns yellow and orange closer to autumn.

This undersized bush will feel great if you plant it in your country garden or decorate it with small hedges on the site.

Spirea is an unpretentious plant and will grow well in places where there is often sun. You can safely forget about watering it, because few people know, but the Japanese spirea is a drought-resistant flower.

By the way, its small feature is that regular cutting of already faded inflorescences contributes to re-flowering.

2. Butterfly bush

The name of this flower fully justifies it - ironically, the butterfly bush really attracts this equally beautiful insect. True, this bush does not bloom from the very beginning of the summer season, but closer to the month of July and continues to bloom until October.

Heavy buds can weigh down the slender stems of the plant, so I sometimes prune them to stimulate new bud growth and restore the flower itself upright.

Personally, I planted this bush along the fence, right along the perimeter of the site. But at my neighbors, I saw him planted by the garden paths.

3. Rose of Sharon

Despite its name, this shrub is not a rose at all, but a member of the hibiscus family. I love this flower because it blooms even when other plants have finished blooming, that is, until about mid-autumn. I put him next to the porch near the house and now I am happy every time I sit on the porch.

Rose of Sharon adapts to most soil types and does not require any special care, as it might seem at first glance. Grows best in sunny locations with occasional shade.

4. Hydrangea "Magic Sweet Summer"

The unusual name of this beautiful flower is fully consistent with it - its inflorescences are associated with sweet pastel pink marshmallows.

This hydrangea variety is one of the rare perennial flowering shrubs that will bloom in shady areas, filling the air with a sweet-spicy scent that is attractive to butterflies and bees.

It grows best in moist soils in full shade. The soil should not be dry, or at least sometimes dry out.

5. Blue Beard

Some call this plant a bush of blue mist or a dark knight. I always envy my neighbors in the country who have this cute bush - it is pleasant to my eyes on it look, and the blue color of the inflorescences soothes, I really like the combination of dark blue and dark green colors. Only now my hands do not constantly reach to plant it in my area.

The blue beard is pleasing to the eye from about the end of June to September and grows up to a meter in height.
