New building materials: tongue-and-groove blocks for mortarless masonry

But these are facade materials that require fasteners and guides (galvanized profiles or bars) on the walls. They are not suitable for fences. I would like to. Because have two striking advantages over other blocks - dry installation and decorative stone look.

Kneading the mortar and laying out a fence made of blocks or bricks - this is what self-builders are afraid of. And the prices of bricklayers are from 500 rubles / m2 of the wall. Progress does not stand still. I came across a photo of such a block:

Dry assembly of blocks of interesting configuration. Suitable for the construction of a fence or facade (if the surface is textured). They are made by vibration casting, as well as modern paving stones and PShchS blocks. The corners are made of regular rectangular blocks. And these will adjoin them.

For reliability and fixing of blocks, the masonry can be fixed on polyurethane foam glue or on mineral tile adhesive (applied from a construction syringe). I would go for glue foam. You don't need a lot of it, examples with prices:

Apparently, this video was filmed abroad. I did not find such blocks on the Russian Internet.

Why don't our paving stone or block manufacturers expand their range? You only need a matrix (form) for vibrating machines. If the surfaces are in the style of "chipped stone" or "washed concrete", a low competitive price, then the demand will not keep you waiting.

By the nature of the material from which the block is made, this is our cinder block, widespread in every city, as it is called. But with a special geometry that allows you to get the best adhesion in the laying of blocks with each other. These blocks can also be mounted on foam glue or mortar with a very thin seam.

Instead of pillars that will fix (reinforce) the vertical position of the masonry, use reinforcement inserted into the hole. And every 3-4 rows this hole is poured with concrete. You can get an even fence without highlighting with pillars.

What would you better rate the advantages of blocks with such geometry, look at the photo of the masonry of hollow fence blocks:

It will not be possible to lay out a fence from blocks beautifully on the solution without experience. Or you will have a very slow process with constant shifting of blocks until you "get your hand". I know from myself. And dry installation or installation on glue-foam speeds up this process at times.

P.S. The article is mostly for representatives of building block manufacturers. I see how there is competition on price (often at the expense of quality). Maybe it makes sense to stand out with just such products, to expand your assortment?
