I cut the anchor with a screwdriver in a hard-to-reach place. I began to use the method often
I planned to use the method in rare cases, using a drill, but recently I have been using a screwdriver instead. The method consists in attaching the shaft from the angle grinder with a cutting disc to the tool, and cutting metal in places where the grinder cannot crawl.
Occasion at work
I recently had to saw through, thus, the darling of the castle, the other day I sawed the sour clamping nut on the mixers, and now I had to use it again.
It was necessary to plaster the outer slope of the new window, but it turned out that the installers had not removed the old anchor, which became an obstacle.
Such fasteners have been encountered before., and also when plastering window slopes, this is a Soviet forged product, it was used 60 years ago, it sits very firmly in the wall, you just can't get it out. It's a pity that I can't show it in full, somewhere from past works it is lying around, but now I have not found it.
It was possible to remove the glass unit
, but there was a strong wind, and I did this only once, so I did not dare.I had to reapply the proven method with a screwdriver, and with one hand cut off the protruding metal on the weight, and then seal it with mortar.
With this window, somehow it went wrong right away, after removing the withdrawn upper slope, the top turned out to be a decent, non-foamed gap, with a finger thick, I had to foam it myself, but now the fasteners were sticking out. I hope this is where the adventure ends. Have you had situations where one or the other interfered with your work?
