Iodine and milk for feeding Cucumbers. Get a gorgeous harvest before all the Neighbors for 3 weeks
The science of growing cucumbers was shared with me by my grandfather, who spent his whole life at the ground and for many years generously supplied our family with such vegetables that cannot be found in modern stores.
From him I took over the love of gardening and the habit of growing everything without chemicals. And grandfather knew the secrets of how to raise, increase the yield of all crops.
And I use one of these dressings every year, growing boldly and simply even the most capricious varieties of cucumbers!
To prepare it, you need only 2 ingredients - iodine and milk. And right away I want to note that iodine is really capable of harming cucumbers - causing wilting of their leaves and the bitterness of green leaves, but in this case its negative qualities are neutralized by milk.
And one more detail - the mixture is used strictly as a foliar dressing, spraying the stems and leaves of cucumbers shortly before flowering.
Instead of milk, you can take kefir or yogurt, whey, all the same - the products of this group are rich in amino acids and trace elements - phosphorus, cuprum, calcium, ferum.
Milk enhances the metabolism of plants, helps them to better extract nutrients from the soil.
Being a highly effective antiseptic, iodine instantly penetrates into the living green tissues of the plant and has a prophylactic and, if necessary, therapeutic effect. Protecting cucumbers from rot - leaf, stem, root and bacterial infections.
Using this folk recipe can increase yields by 30%!
To prepare the product you need:
· Pour 1 liter of milk into a container;
· Add 30 drops of iodine to it;
· Mix 1 tbsp. l. liquid soap.
The last component is needed in order for the composition to be sticky, to stay on the cucumber greens longer. Next, the resulting mixture must be diluted with 10 liters of water and you can start caring for the garden.
Treatment with iodine-milk solution can be single or double with a break of 7 days. Spraying should be done during the daytime in cloudy weather or in the evening at sunset.
And before you spray the plantings, it is imperative to remove the affected, dry, sick-looking cucumber leaves - so that the culture does not waste its vitality on them.
I also want to note that milk with iodine can be combined with any root dressings for cucumbers, adding other formulations, store or folk, even on the same day.
