Surprisingly, we invested our millions in a country house just for the view

We bought our site near the water for about 2.5 million. This is 9 acres, taking into account the supplied communications. The cheapest land plot "not specific" (not by the forest, not by the lake) in our cottage village could be bought for about 1.5 million rubles.

Just a plot without a view and not in a cottage village, but somewhere in this area you can buy for 500 thousand rubles. That is, we paid 1 million for the view and another 1 million for the fact that it was just a closed guarded illuminated and cleaned cottage village.

With this money it was possible:

1. Buy a plot twice as large.

2. Build a house half as much.

3. Buy a land plot very close to Moscow.

Do I regret the choice I made? Not much!

1. I wouldn't trade my view from the terrace for anything.

2. Getting home in the evening on the road with flashlights is a pleasure.

3. And the eye rests when you walk between the houses, which are all built in the same style and with the same fences! Yes, yes, this is important to me!

With this money, it was possible to buy a land plot not in the suburbs, but somewhere more picturesque (so, to be honest, the nature near Moscow is far from the most beautiful). And with a view not of an artificial reservoir, but of the sea or mountains.

Do I regret my choice? No!!! Because you can't hit the mountains or the sea for the weekend, and if you really want to go on vacation often, you want to go to different places, and not to the same one!

All these thresholds - opportunities to reduce the cost / increase in price - are priorities, each, naturally, has their own. I told you about mine and my train of thought when I was choosing a site! I hope he will help you decide on YOUR choice of your ideal site!
