Where can you see the world's first house printed on a printer?
It is hard to believe that technological progress has already stepped so far, but this is so and we have become witnesses of this. There are already 2 houses in the world, which are printed on a 3-D printer. And it happened in Mexico, the state of Tabasco.
But not because they are so advanced in terms of technological advancements, but because a charity company is building an entire neighborhood of 50 printed houses for them. This is due to the fact that Mexicans simply live in slums, barely accommodating their large families, and a house created with a 3-D printer is the know-how thanks to which you can solve the problem.
The area of the finished house is 47m2, which, compared with how some Mexican citizens live now, are real mansions (photo 1). This house has 2 bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen and even a bathroom. Electricity and water supply are provided. Everything is designed taking into account the safety and climatic conditions in a given country.
It took about 24 hours to build one such house. After that, the assembly process begins. It should be noted that the roof, windows and doors are not printed on the printer, since the device is not yet capable of this. After assembly, the house is ready for living, no interior finishing work is required, which significantly reduces housing costs. After all, it is not provided free of charge, but for 1.7 thousand dollars.
As for my opinion on this matter, I believe that this is an excellent way out of this situation, since people really have nowhere to live or their living conditions leave much to be desired. Moreover, the appearance of this building is very presentable and looks cozy and comfortable. And the most important thing is that it is safe, the roof in the house does not leak, and the building itself must withstand even earthquakes.
