This is due to the fact that being on a flower bed ants:

· Are carriers of aphids, because they feed on its sweet nectar, which, in turn, settling on flowers, leads to their death;

· Destroy flowers, eating up the buds of roses and peonies, which subsequently either do not open at all, or form deformed and unattractive flowers.

· Destroy flower beds, making numerous passages in the soil;

· Increase the acidity of the earth, which negatively affects the condition of the flowers growing in the flower bed.

An effective way to fight

To fight ants, I use ammonia, which is known to have a pungent odor that repels these insects.

To prepare the solution, I dilute ammonia in the amount of one tablespoon in ten liters of room temperature water and add three tablespoons of granulated sugar.

I mix everything well and leave to infuse for 5 hours. I put the solution in a spray bottle and spray it on my flower bed. And I also necessarily pour part of the product directly into the anthills.

What I like about this method of fighting ants is that when it is carried out, the flowers do not receive any harm, and the insects die.

Application features

I carry out the processing of plants only after sunset, since otherwise there is a high probability of sunburn by flowers.

The weather must be dry and calm, otherwise the effectiveness of the procedure may suffer.
