An easy and delicious recipe for preparing garlic arrows for the winter.
Garlic arrows are delicious and healthy. There is a huge number of dishes that can be prepared from what many simply do not throw away. And in vain! Those who have tried garlic arrows at least once will never be able to refuse such a yummy.
Braised arrows, pickled, fried, dried... There are a lot of ways to prepare garlic arrows. But I want to make preparations for the winter while spending as little time and effort as possible on the whole process. The simplest recipe is salted arrows with herbs.
When the arrows are already large, but still soft and tender, they should be cut. At the same time, it is worth grabbing a bunch of green dill and a few leaves of currant and horseradish in the garden.
Garlic arrows should be cut into two or three pieces for easy placement in the jar. Cut off the top of the arrows with seeds. Depending on the quantity of the product, we select the container volume. I usually use a three liter can. For such a volume, we take 5 tablespoons of coarse salt and the required amount of water so that the arrows are completely closed. We make a solution from water and salt. Then, alternating arrows and greens, fill the jar. Lay a sheet of horseradish on top. Then fill it with brine and close it with a tight lid. Store the arrow jar in a cool place. They will be ready for use in two months.
