Making a wall bed from a baking sheet

Greetings to the readers of the Kulibin channel. I am sharing with you another homemade product for decorating bare home walls. Lovers of homemade greenery will especially appreciate it. Today we will make a decorative wall bed from an old baking sheet. If the word "baking sheet" is not written correctly, then do not judge strictly)))

Let's get started. To begin with, we choose a round pan with high sides, the higher the sides, the better.

Naturally, I wash it, put it in order, you can even paint it. Next, you need a sheet of transparent polycarbonate, the thickness of the sheet is at least 3 mm, otherwise it will bend outward. We attach the sheet to the baking sheet (as shown in the photo) and mark the circle along which we will cut.

Next, cut out a semicircle from a sheet of polycarbonate, clean the cut edges with sandpaper. This is to make it beautiful and not cut your hands.

We take good glue and glue the polycarbonate to the baking sheet. I think it's better to use Loctite glue or Moment super glue. In general, we glue it so that it does not fall off))

I almost forgot. Before gluing the sheet, think over how you will attach this bed to the wall. If you need through holes, then make them in advance, fix the bed on the wall with dowels and only then stick the sheet. Perhaps you can come up with a different fixation scheme.

Now we fill our bed with gravel. For air flow, several holes can be drilled in the polycarbonate underneath. But if you pour water heavily, then it will flow onto the carpet)))

We take indoor plants, naturally small, large ones look bad. Although, for example, you can plant one ampelous geranium so that it hangs beautifully from the wall bed.

We plant our plants in a garden bed, just do not overwork with compaction of the soil so as not to dump the polycarbonate and all the contents on the floor)))

You will get such a beautiful contraption. Yes, for an apartment this is not entirely practical, but many aesthetes are ready to sacrifice practicality for visual pleasure))
